Long past due: Pesach Pics!

We watched Morah Chava pull the Matzah out of the bag... oooh! Suspense!

It was so bumpy and rough! Later, we got to explore the matzah in the sensory table and crumble, crackle and crunch it!

It tasted yummy too!

After reading "The Mouse in the Matzah Factory", we knew all the things we would need to make matzah: flour, water and some FAST workers! We made our own matzah - we poured the water and flour quickly into a bowl.

Mixing that matzah dough was messy work!

Rolling the dough...

Poking holes to make sure it doesn't rise...

Ready for baking!

The finished product... all in less than 18 minutes!

Sending baby Moshe down the Nile in a basket. This activity, along with yelling "No, I will not let the people go!" was a favorite activity.

When the Jews were ready to leave, they had no time to let the dough rise. They just packed into their bags and left in a hurry!

What happened to the dough?

It turned to Matzah!

Morah Chava pulled different foods out of the basket and we had to guess, was it chometz?

Or matzah?!
